Presbyterian Church of the Cross

Music is an important part of our worship service at Presbyterian Church of the Cross!  There are several ways to be involved:

  • Adult Choir - Rehearses on Wednesday evenings, 6:30 - 7:30 pm (September - May and monthly during summer); ages high school through adult welcome
  • Voices of Angels (Children and Youth Choir) - Rehearsals on 2nd and 4th Sunday mornings at 10:00 am (September - May in conjunction with the Sunday School class), and as needed for special events; ages 6 years through high school welcome
  • Bells of Praise (Handbell Choir) - Rehearsals on Wednesday evenings, 5:30 - 6:20 pm (September - May); ages middle school through adult welcome

All of our groups are open to all, no experience necessary!  Music reading skills are a positive, but are not required. We all enjoy making music and having fellowship together!

Our goal is to enhance the worship service with quality, meaningful, and inspirational music. While much of our music is traditional, we incorporate many different styles.  Organ and piano typically accompany worship services, although we do feature special musical guests throughout the year, including violinists, flutists, guitarists, and guest singers.

We also promote and host free concerts throughout the year that enhance the congregation and the surrounding community.

If you are interested in joining any of our musical groups, or would like to be involved in the Music Program in other ways, please contact Christy Wisuthseriwong, Director of Music.
