Presbyterian Church of the Cross

  • Pathways Center - A housing program, located at 3517 North Church Street, whose purpose is to provide homeless families a safe, temporary environment in which to live while they are searching for other housing. Volunteers from PCC provide, prepare and serve a simple evening meal to residents on the third Tuesday of each month. You are encouraged to sign up in the fellowship hall foyer to be responsible for any open date and to invite others to help.  If you have questions, call the church office for a contact number.

Their mission is to express the love of God to people in need through practical action in the Greater Greensboro area, serving the homeless, hungry and poor through a number of programs.  PCC supports all of GUM's programs and recommends those in need to them, but we are particularly active in two of their programs:

  • Food Bank - We have a continuous collection of dried and canned foods with a concentration on dried beans and macaroni and cheese dinners.  Collection boxes are located in the sanctuary vestibule and fellowship hall foyer where you may place your donation of food at any time.  These are delivered to Greensboro Urban Ministry.
